Osteoporosis:
In 1994 the cost to the NHS due to hip fractures was £450 million.
In 1996 it had risen to £760 million and by the year 2000 it has again increased to over £1,760 million pounds.

Prevention:
Osteoporosis known as the Silent Epidemic is difficult to treat and reverse once a fracture has occured however, it can be prevented provided an individuals risk is known... through having a preventative bone density assessment.

Clinical Evidence:
In 2003 the Medical Journal, the Lancet printed a Landmark fracture study from the Medical Research Council in the UK demonstrating the ability of the CUBAClincal system to predict an individuals risk of future hip fracture.
